After suffering family loss, her interests became focused on holistic medicine, health practices and lifestyle.  This direction initially began when Ruth studied horticulture and became interested in herbology.

Ruth is a homegrown Minnesota native. Her education background includes women’s studies and philosophy.  She has also performed as a lead in a local full feature film. Her interests include literary arts and recreation as a motorcycle enthusiast.
